The ‘Litter-Free Block’ Programme @ South West aims to serve as a timely reminder to all South West residents of the need to upkeep high public hygiene standards through individual and collective efforts to reduce the risks of breeding pests/insects. The programme hopes to encourage residents to make a conscious effort in practising anti-littering habits and to have more ownership of their living environment via intensive public education and outreach programmes.

In conjunction with the launch of the ‘Litter-Free Block’ Programme @ South West, ‘My Block is Litter-Free!’ Competition is piloting in Hong Kah North Division, involving 21 blocks or 1,680 households this year.
