Nan Hwa Girls School established 17 June 1917 at Coleman Street. Relocated to Bencoolen Street in 1921. Relocated to Adis Road in 1941. Closed during the war and reopened in October 1945. Renamed Nan Hwa Girls' High School in 1956. Main school became secondary school and branch school became primary school in 1964. Relocated to 330, Clementi Ave 1 on 12 December 1982. Admitted boys and renamed Nan Hua Secondary School in 1984. Relocated to current site in 2004. Renamed to Nan Hua High School in 2006.

Description:
Khee Fatt School, formerly known as Khee Fatt Study Institute established 1906 at Loke Yew Street. Shifted to Peking Street. A branch school was established in Malay Street in 1917. Khee Fatt School merged with its branch school at 31 Hill Street. It expanded to 29 Hill Street in 1937. Closed down in the war. Established at 30 Cairnhill Road on 10 August 1947. Relocated to current site in January 1985 as Qifa Primary. Currently undergoing upgrading works until December 2007. Merging with Jin Tai Primary at current site in January 2008.

Description:
Joo Long Public School established at Jurong Road in 1930. Relocated to Kee San estate in Jalan Bahar in 1934. Closed during war and reopened in 1946. Relocated to Upper Jurong Road in 1950. Relocated to current site as Rulang Primary in 1985. Upgrading works completed December 2002.

Established as Tuan Cheng Public School in 1925. Renamed Seh Chuan High, located at Jalan Seh Chuan off Jalan Jurong Kechil. Renamed Shuqun Secondary School in 1983. Primary school section known as Shuqun Primary School in April 1984. Relocated to current site in 1985. Upgrading works completed December 2001.

Established as St. Anna's School on 1 August 1879 at Middle Road. Renamed St. Anthony's Boys' and Girls' School in 23 February 1886. Relocated to Victoria Street in November 1893 as St. Anthony's Boys' School. Became a primary school in 1961 when all secondary school classes were shifted to St Joseph's Institute. Relocated to current site in May 1992 as co-educational St. Anthony's Primary School. Upgrading works completed in May 2002.

Yusof Ishak Secondary School was established in 1965 as Jubilee Integrated Secondary School at 27A Jubilee Road.
On 29 July 1966 then Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, declared open Yusof Ishak Secondary School (YISS) at Jubilee Road.
In Dec 1998, we moved to our Bukit Batok campus. This marked a milestone in Yusof Ishak Secondary School’s history.

The new school building was officially opened on 29th July 2000 by Dr Ong Chit Chung, MP , Jurong GRC.
This is the only school to be named after a President of our Republic.
