stores over 108,000 artefacts, and has
conservation laboratories specially
fitted for the treatment of artefacts

Measuring 420 square metres, the exhibition
gallery comprises the Surrender Room (where the

audio-visual theatre. |

Bukit Chandu @ Pasir Panjang |

World War II interpretative Centre housed in a
restored colonial bungalow. Set in lush green
surroundings amidst the picturesque Pasir
Panjang area, it tells the tale of the Battle of
Pasir Panjang on 14 February 1942 when 1,400
brave and valiant soldiers from the Malay
Regiment chose to fight to their death against
13,000 Japanese soldiers. |
